Our first meeting will provide a short introduction for the benefit of parents and children who have not been scouts previously. We will also present the draft program for this term, providing an opportunity for scouts to shape the programme to suit their interests. This drier material will be broken up with a series of games and activities.
The Scout section will meet Wednesday evenings from 7.00 to 9.00 pm. The time could be adjusted slightly after we have our initial meeting.
Address: Ainslie Scout Hall. Cnr Ebden and Hassall Sts., Ainslie
Ages: 10.5 to 15 years old

What is so special about Les Explorateurs?
Les Explorateurs is a special group, delivering the Australian scouting program in French (www.explorateurs.org.au). Our interest in the French language spills over into other francophone cultural interests.
The focus for 2015
Our first priority will be firstly to ensure that we prepare our scouts for the upcoming Jamboree in January 2016. This will involve a good deal of fun, challenging activities designed to build confidence, independence and teamwork skills.
Our second priority will be to plan a group trip to France to join in a French scout summer camp, visit places of interest in France and camp on Brownsea Island, the birthplace of scouting.
Please feel free to pass this information on to anyone who may be interested in joining us.
Please RSVP by emailing groupleader(@)explorateurs.org.au by Tuesday 3 February.
